Job Description

As a Full Stack Database Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our database systems to meet the evolving needs of our end-users. You'll be responsible for ensuring the availability, quality, and security of our databases, as well as providing top-notch support and training to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop database systems that meet the specialized needs of our end-users, taking into account their roles, responsibilities, and workflows.

• Ensure the availability and quality of our databases, making sure that data is accessible in the right format, to the right users, at the right time.
• Respond quickly to user-reported errors and take prompt action to resolve them.
• Protect our databases from unauthorized access and attacks, using robust security measures and data backup techniques.
• Provide training and support to our users, empowering them to proactively manage their data and make informed decisions.
• Analyze database performance using metrics and reporting, identifying areas for improvement and implementing new solutions as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest database trends and technologies, continuously looking for ways to improve and optimize our systems.

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a related role, with a strong understanding of database design, development, and management.
• Complete knowledge of data recovery, backup, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with database design and manipulation languages, such as MySQL and Oracle.
• Working experience with database administration tools and third-party software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience with cloud-based database platforms, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Certification in database administration or a related field, such as Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator.
