About the Job

As a Full Stack Bookkeeper at arenaflex, you'll be at the forefront of cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Accounting, Finance, Design, Product, and other teams to drive business growth and success. Your days will be filled with assessing data using SQL and Python, conducting in-depth data analysis and research, creating complex reports and dashboards, and contributing to critical accounting research and planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work closely with Accounting, Finance, Design, Product, and other teams to drive business growth and success

• Create and develop comprehensive accounting data requirements to support the continuous automation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and efficiency in financial processes
• Lead functional improvement initiatives to further streamline income tasks and reduce the income close cycle
• Review data quality of journal entries prepared through the Income Subledger and develop Information Quality checks for identified use cases through accounting requirements planning, special projects, new product launches, etc.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to continuously improve our daily Income Reconciliation process and oversee reconciliation investigation with the help of the analysis team
• Conduct monthly income accounting close responsibilities, including but not limited to: GAAP income analysis, cost of income analysis, debt claims reconciliations, review journal entries, and audit close package expectations
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned

We're Excited About You Because:

* 3+ years of experience in income accounting, data analysis, and business intelligence

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 Revenue Recognition required; knowledge of IFRS an asset
• Transitional/high-level SQL skills and ability to work with large volumes of conditional data, Python an asset
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to changing work environments
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both internally and remotely
