What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide technical expertise in implementing and utilizing Clinical Information Systems (CIS) technologies to support clinical workflows
- Assist in collaboration efforts with stakeholders to ensure optimal support of the CIS is achieved and maintained
- Develop and implement CIS education programs and support
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to clinical informatics systems and implement timely solutions
- Facilitate clinical system orientation training programs for physicians, clinical staff, and operational staff
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Clinical background or licensure (RN, LPN) preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Cerner (FirstNet/PowerChart) or Epic (ASAP/ClinDoc) including direct support of provider and clinical staff end users
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Clinical Informatics, instructional design, and/or analytics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with e-learning platforms such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline 2, or Camtasia
- Project management experience, particularly in healthcare IT implementations
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, Meaningful Use)
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Ability to present in front of professional groups and leadership
