Volunteer Board Member (Development and Fundraising Focused)
Board Member. Director of Development and Fundraising CollabED. Educator Development and Collaboration Alliance Inc. Volunteer. Remote. Flexible commitment. CollabED is a free, educator-led professional community for K-12 teachers across the country. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built entirely by volunteers, currently in our first year of operations. We have a platform, a podcast, a resource library, a mobile app, and a team of people who believe deeply that teachers deserve better support. We are early. We are lean. And we are looking for someone who has been here before. We need a Board Member who specializes in development and fundraising. Not someone to manage a budget that already exists. Someone who can help us figure out how to build one. Someone who knows how to find funding for a grassroots organization, cultivate relationships with donors and foundations, and teach us how to do this the right way as we grow. This is a working board. We do not meet for the sake of meeting. We show up because we care about the mission and we want to move it forward.
