Job Summary

We're hiring an experienced Booking & Activities Customer Support Representative to join our team on a seasonal, part-time basis. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, answering questions, and booking guests on boating excursions. If you're an armchair adventure seeker, a traveler at heart, or simply someone who loves providing top-notch customer service, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities

As a Booking & Activities Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing efficient, effective, and empathetic customer service through phone and email channels
  • Maintaining a strong online presence by keeping up with social media channels for customer support and feedback
  • Setting up schedules and tours in the back office and booking systems
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple responsibilities with various timelines
  • Utilizing strong speaking and writing skills to communicate with clients and provide exceptional service
  • Making decisions and working through customer tickets autonomously
  • Collaborating with our client and providing back-office support from the comfort of your own home
  • Being adaptable and willing to take on additional support and operational tasks and responsibilities in various systems

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Keen problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • Experience with Fareharbor is a must
  • Familiarity with Zendesk, Aircall, or Talkdesk, and Slack is a plus
  • Strong active listening skills and the ability to use and model positive language to help customers and clients
  • Stamina in problem-solving and the ability to maintain a positive attitude even on a tough day
  • Computer skills, including familiarity with multiple browsers, tabs, window navigations, and instant messaging tools
  • Fluency in oral and written English; second language is a plus
  • Dedicated and dependable work ethic
  • A quiet, distraction-free workspace in your home with a door that closes
  • A direct connection from your computer to your router/modem via Ethernet cable (no satellite or wireless Internet (WiFi))
  • Strong and consistent Internet bandwidth: 50 Mbps download speed and 5 Mbps upload or faster from a reliable provider

Compensation and Perks

The starting hourly rate for this position is $16-19/hr, depending on living wage. We're committed to fair compensation and offer a range of benefits to support your well-being and career growth.
