Job Summary
As an experienced Full Stack Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, processing prescriptions accurately and efficiently, and contributing to the growth and development of arenaflex's pharmacy team. You will work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with national and federal regulations
- Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory
- Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, engaging with patients and resolving issues promptly
- Develop strong relationships with valuable customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Personnel Pharmacist, and Store Supervisor, including:
+ Entering patient and drug records accurately and efficiently + Filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets + Verifying medication accuracy and checking for potential interactions + Assisting pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow + Reporting prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhering to company policies and procedures + Registering all related income on assigned cash register, collecting and handling coins as required + Assisting with stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs + Maintaining knowledge of company asset safety procedures and documenting claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order mistakes, or broken goods related to Rx capsules
- May assist pharmacists in administering medical services, including collecting and labeling blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required
- Assist Pharmacy Supervisor and Personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, through clinical provider detailing and outreach to healthcare agencies, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for reinforcing growth opportunities
Education & Personal Development
* Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the arenaflex pharmacy technician apprenticeship program and/or state required certification/registration
- Attend training and complete PPLs as assigned by the manager and acquire continuing education credits
- Maintain expertise and knowledge in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest information and developments
- Through completion of the arenaflex pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, experience qualifies for 8 (8) college credit hours as recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE)
Basic Qualifications
* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
* Choose six months of experience in a retail environment
- Choose to have previous work experience with arenaflex
- Choose to have desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
- Choose to have correct computer skills
- Choose to have knowledge of store inventory management
- Prefer PTCB certification

Compensation & Benefits
