Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Associate to join our team on a temporary basis. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, providing courteous and efficient service, and promoting arenaflex's products and services. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences: Engage with customers, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
  • Providing Courteous and Efficient Service: Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with friendly and efficient checkout service, and recommend items for sale.
  • Maintaining a Clean and Organized Store: Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
  • Implementing Asset Protection Procedures: Identify and minimize profit loss by implementing company asset protection procedures.
  • Ensuring Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Constructing and Maintaining Displays: Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
  • Providing Customer Service in the Photo Area: Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
  • Assisting with Web Pick-up Responsibilities: Monitor orders, fill orders, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
  • Maintaining a Clean and Orderly Store Condition: Ensure a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
  • Complying with Company Policies and Procedures: Comply with all company policies and procedures, and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage with customers, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service.
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution Skills: Ability to resolve customer issues and conflicts in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Basic Math Skills: Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register accurately.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a clean and organized store, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous Retail Experience: Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of Store Systems and Equipment: Familiarity with store systems and equipment, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including ability to use a point-of-sale system and navigate online platforms.
