Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include: ### Gathering Data and Entering Information into Databases

  • Systematically collect relevant data from various sources, including surveys, forms, or existing records.
  • Accurately input information into designated databases, ensuring complete and correctly formatted entries to maintain data integrity.
  • Verify data entries for accuracy and completeness before submitting them to the database.

### Examining Records for Precision

  • Meticulously review existing records to ensure accuracy and up-to-dateness.
  • Cross-reference data entries with original documents or other reliable sources to identify and correct discrepancies or errors.
  • Enhance the overall quality of the database by ensuring accurate and consistent data.

### Modifying Databases with New or Amended Information as Required

  • Update the database with new information or amended data as required.
  • Add new entries, edit existing records, and remove outdated information to ensure the database reflects the most current and relevant data.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless data management and accurate information.

### Conducting Routine Backups of Data to Guarantee Preservation

  • Create regular backups of the database at scheduled intervals.
  • Store backups in secure locations to ensure data security and preservation.
  • Restore data quickly and efficiently in case of technical failures, accidental deletions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

### Accessing Records and Electronic Documents from the Database

  • Retrieve specific records or documents from the database as needed.

  • Ensure data is accurate and up-to-date before sharing it with team members.

### Classifying and Arranging Physical Records or Notes Following Data Entry

### Preparing Digital Documents or Files for Printing

  • Format digital documents to ensure they are print-ready.

### Supplying Team Members with Requested Data or Information

  • Respond to requests from colleagues for specific data or information.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need: ### Essential Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
