About the Job

We're looking for a Senior Accountant who is passionate about financial reporting and analysis. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for driving business objectives by improving process efficiency and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will work closely with our Senior Accounting Director to achieve our goals and make a meaningful impact on our organization.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger

• Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for explicitly assigned functional areas
• Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
• Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
• Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders regarding significant accounting matters
• Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
• CPA certification an asset

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Accounting or related field

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English
• Strong time management and organizational skills
