Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst / Online Chat Assistant to join our remote team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and sustaining coverage, providing departmental insights on efficiency, and creating data-driven solutions to drive business growth. You will work closely with our Monitoring and Business Analysts to understand business needs, preserve complete documents, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting necessities.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain coverage to support business procedures and data-driven decision making

• Create and manage dashboards on Power BI and Excel to provide actionable insights
• Develop and maintain records quality specifications and management to ensure data integrity and access
• Create and manage new data pipelines from resource devices to the Data Warehouse
• Work closely with Monitoring and Business Analysts to understand business needs, preserve complete documents, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting necessities
• Develop, maintain, and establish scalable data pipelines and data construction
• Utilize data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
• Help automate existing business functions and boost exception-based reporting
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and obtain new data variables (data mining)
• Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns that provide actionable results
• Evaluate and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide recommendations to team leaders on areas that need attention
• Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis

• Strong experience working with Power BI, including Dimensions, Solutions, Filters, Computed Fields, makeovers, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc.
• Knowledge of DAX, SQL, M Code
• Proficient in SQL, able to write complex SQL to create files and analytics
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
• Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
• Problem-solving with statistical evaluation and large data sets highly preferable

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query

• Experience with Smartsheets
• Strong effort in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines
