Job Summary

As a Translation Program Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our content is accessible and engaging for customers worldwide. You'll work closely with our internal teams and stakeholders to receive daily translation/localization requests, create and manage translation projects, and troubleshoot issues that arise. Your attention to detail, project management skills, and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment will be essential in delivering high-quality translations on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive daily translation/localization requests from internal team and stakeholders, and prioritize tasks accordingly

• Create and manage translation projects in the arenaflex Translation Management System (ATMS) by outsourcing to vendors, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
• Coordinate and communicate project delivery timelines based on project volumes, translation/review process needs, and stakeholder expectations
• Troubleshoot issues or questions regarding target audience, file type, and business requirements, providing solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders
• Respond to linguistic queries from translation vendors, request feedback from internal stakeholders, and coordinate with vendors for implementation
• Use project management methodology, including risk management, to plan, scope, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard, ensuring they meet the requirements of the business

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in translation project management, with a focus on localization and content delivery
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality translations on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including risk management and Agile principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in translation project management, with a focus on localization and content delivery
• Certification in translation project management, such as the Certified Translation Project Manager (CTPM) designation
• Strong knowledge of arenaflex's Translation Management System (ATMS) and other translation tools and technologies
• Experience working in a global organization, with a focus on delivering high-quality translations for customers worldwide
