Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Chat Support Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging with our vibrant community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos
  • Providing timely and effective support to users, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex problems to senior team members
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring a seamless user experience
  • Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the Vetcove platform, staying up-to-date on new features and functionality
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and stay current with industry trends
  • Working closely with the Support Team to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a positive and collaborative team culture

Essential Qualifications

* 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience, preferably in a tech or start-up environment

  • 2-year Associate's Degree or 4-year College Degree in a related field (e.g., Communications, Business, or Computer Science)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in chat support or a related customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of intercom and/or other chat platforms
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations, with a focus on delivering empathetic and personalized support
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong desire to learn and help customers succeed, with a growth mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges

* Tech or start-up work experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience working with veterinary professionals or in a related field, with a deep understanding of their needs and challenges
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with training and onboarding new team members, with a focus on knowledge sharing and process documentation
