The Opportunity
As our first dedicated Customer Support Representative, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our support team. You'll have the opportunity to build a system and processes that will set the standard for our future CS team members. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Communicating with customers via live chat or email, resolving any problems they may have, and providing exceptional support experiences.
- Continuously learning about the features of our app and the broader Shopify ecosystem to better serve our customers.
- Summarizing product feedback from merchants and suggesting new ways to improve our products.
- Performing non-CS related tasks, such as researching tools, writing blog posts, and creating mockups, based on your natural abilities and interests.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- A passion for talking to people and solving their problems, with a strong customer-centric approach.
- The ability to handle challenging customers (though we have very few of those!).
- Proficiency in discussing technical concepts at a high level, with a willingness to learn more about CSS, JS, and other technical aspects of our app.
- The ability to write technical documentation and articles, as well as perform non-CS related tasks.
- A willingness to work with basic CSS and JS, with a willingness to learn more if needed.
- A minimum of 4 hours of overlap with GMT 9am-6pm, to ensure seamless communication with our global team.
Nice to Have
While not essential, the following qualifications would be a great asset:
- Experience working with Shopify, especially in theme development or customization.
- Experience working with B2B SaaS platforms.
- Additional languages, particularly French, Spanish, and Italian.
- Any other skills that can benefit a startup, such as marketing, SEO, video editing, or more.
