We have also built strong relationships with the world's most influential martech platforms and are key partners to them and their clients. We are seeking an experienced Adobe Target contractor to support experimentation and personalization within a broader Adobe marketing technology ecosystem. This role will focus on hands-on configuration, execution, and optimization of web-based tests and targeted experiences, while collaborating closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to define and refine experimentation strategies.Engagement Details

Able to work remotely preferably within the US overlapping with CST time zoneContract Hours: 20 for 3 monthsClient Load: 1–2 concurrent accountsRole Type: Independent Contractor (IC)Duration: Ongoing (multi-month) with extension potentialLocation: Ideally US/Canada, must overlap with client hours (CST); Possible occasional travel opportunities to client locations for workshops, training, etc.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, manage, and optimize Adobe Target within a larger Adobe Experience Cloud stack, including integrations with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time CDP (RTCDP), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Launch, and MarketoDesign, build, test, and deploy web-based A/B/n, multivariate (MVT), experience targeting (XT), auto-allocate, auto-target, and Recommendations activities in Adobe TargetPartner with internal teams to translate business goals, hypotheses, and audience strategies into measurable tests and personalized experiencesSupport more advanced targeting and personalization use cases over time, including geographic-based targeting, rule-based personalization, auto-target, and Recommendations-driven experiencesEnsure proper data flow and measurement between Target, AEP, and CJA to support reporting and insightsSupport training of client team members new to TargetAdvise on best practices and process optimization for experimentation design, audience usage, and test governanceCollaborate with internal and client stakeholders to help define test concepts, success criteria, and next-step optimizationsPerform end-to-end QA on all activities prior to launch, including validation of audience targeting, goal configuration, mbox/selector accuracy, and cross-browser/device rendering within agreed-upon timelinesMaintain activity documentation, naming conventions, and audit trails to support test governance and team continuityRequired ExperienceStrong hands-on experience working with Adobe Target in a production environmentDemonstrated experience configuring Target within a broader Adobe martech ecosystem (including AEP/RTCDP and CJA)Experience designing and executing A/B/n, multivariate (MVT), experience targeting (XT), auto-allocate, auto-target, and Recommendations activities in Adobe TargetHands-on experience configuring Adobe Launch for Target implementations, including rule-based event tracking and data layer integrationComfortable working with audiences sourced from RTCDP and activated across channelsExperience building and managing Target profile attributes, profile scripts, and in-Target audience segments to support personalization use casesAbility to interpret test results and partner with analytics teams to derive actionable insights, including familiarity with the CJA Experimentation panel and metrics such as lift, confidence, and conversion attributionExperience working in enterprise-scale digital environments with multiple stakeholdersAdditional Preferred QualificationsExperience with advanced personalization strategies in Adobe Target, including Auto-Allocate, Auto-Target, MVT, Recommendations, geographic targeting, and rules-based personalizationFamiliarity with Marketo for audience activation and ongoing email/SMS nurture programsExperience advising internal or external clients on experimentation strategy and test designUnderstanding of how experimentation data is leveraged within Customer Journey AnalyticsLight JavaScript or front-end troubleshooting experience related to Target implementations (nice to have)Soft Skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersHighly proactive, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple workstreamsDetail-oriented and rigorous about QA, documentation, and validation; demonstrates ability to complete pre-launch activity validation thoroughly and on scheduleComfortable working on a globally-distributed, remote team
