Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Healthcare Patient Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, answering their calls regarding EOBs and research balances, managing patient refunds, and processing patient payments. If you're a self-motivated, multitasking, and team player with a passion for delivering excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

* Answer patient calls regarding EOBs and research balances

  • Manage patient refunds
  • Process patient payments
  • Provide a positive customer service experience to patients, guests, and clients
  • Consistently demonstrate extensive attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Effectively communicate by phone and in writing with patients
  • Thoroughly understand EOBs and medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare

Requirements

* A minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections required

  • Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare
  • Thorough understanding of EOBs and the ability to effectively communicate by phone and in writing with patients
  • Consistently demonstrate extensive attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to clients, guests, and patients
  • Self-motivated, multitasking, and a team player

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote environment

  • Familiarity with proprietary technology and software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
