Job Summary
As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. You'll work from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to work in an office setting if preferred. In this important role, you'll:
Use empathy and excellent communication skills
to help patients and their families understand confusing medical bills and find affordable solutions to resolve their account balances.
Provide outstanding customer service
by collaborating with patients over the phone to explain their medical bills, answer questions, and resolve account balances.
Use your computer proficiency and attention to detail
to accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day.
Support your fellow team members
with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus.
Continuously improve
with supportive coaching and feedback from your manager and team leads, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities.
What You'll Need

2+ years of experience
in customer service, healthcare, or a related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
, with the ability to work with patients and families from diverse backgrounds
Computer proficiency
and experience with software systems, including CRM and billing systems
Attention to detail
and ability to accurately document calls and follow-ups
Ability to work independently
and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service
High school diploma or equivalent
required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Schedule
