Experienced Pharmacy Technician - Prescription Entry/Customer Service Remote-QS1 Experience Required

Scope of Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, following standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities
  • Accurately entering patient profiles and medications
  • Maintaining accurate information for patients and facilities
  • Billing and crediting each facility appropriately and accurately each month
  • Maintaining reasonable production as determined by your supervisor
  • Traveling to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges (as required)
  • Assisting in orienting and training new employees
  • Completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Attendance Requirements

As a remote employee, you'll be expected to be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts. You may be required to work nights and weekends, so flexibility is essential.

Educational Requirements

* Minimum: High School Diploma or GED

  • Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field

Experience

* Preferred: Hospital, Long-term Care, or Retail pharmacy experience

  • 3-6 months experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Registration Requirements

* Required (Vermont Employees): Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician

  • Required (New Hampshire Employees): Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Required (Ohio Employees Only): Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician

Special Conditions of Employment

* Drug test

  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation

* $14.56 - $19.45 an hour

  • The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
