Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk Typist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Data Entry: Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
  • Data Typing: Type in data provided directly from customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Spreadsheet Creation: Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, utilizing your knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Data Verification: Verify data by comparing it to source documents, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our database.
  • Data Updates: Update existing data, ensuring that our records are up-to-date and reflect the latest information.
  • Data Retrieval: Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested by team members or management.
  • Data Preservation: Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and prevent loss.
  • Paperwork Organization: Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost or misplaced.

Requirements and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fast Typing Skills: A fast and accurate typing speed, with a strong preference for touch typing.
  • Word Processing and Spreadsheet Skills: Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, including MS Office Word and Excel.
