Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency, utilizing arenaflex's solution information systems and rules processes to enroll new patients and enter patient and medication data.
  • Handling patient medicine requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering top-off orders for processing.
  • Investigating to obtain missing pharmacy data, deciphering clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolving all data entry-related exceptions.
  • Handling correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolving outbound decisions to prescribers and patients as needed.
  • Settling Outsider Oddballs by inspecting, gathering data, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
  • Providing support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other areas, and recognizing and conveying issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
  • Acquiring a dynamic pharmacist license or certification within the initial 90 days and maintaining a current pharmacist license or certification.

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and accessing data online).
  • Basic web search skills (e.g., opening a program, typing in URLs in the correct field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online).
  • Middle-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports).
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally.
  • 18 years old or older.

Preferred Qualifications:

* At least one year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment.

  • At least one and a half years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/enrollment by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
