Experienced Medical Data Entry Specialist – Remote Revenue Cycle Operations

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced medical data entry specialist to join our remote team, working Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm CST. As a key member of our revenue cycle operations team, you'll be responsible for processing medical records, entering data into our database, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Key Responsibilities:
* Process medical records through CMS portals, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
- Review medical records for eligibility and completeness, ensuring all necessary information is present and properly filled out
- Utilize various systems and databases to enter client or examine information and retrieve information as needed
- Pull medical records from clients' external sites and upload them into our internal database
- Collaborate with reviewers to provide insight on treatments or diagnoses, helping insurance companies make informed decisions on claims
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via email, addressing questions, report status, concerns, or general requests for information
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
* 1+ year of data entry experience, preferably in a healthcare or revenue cycle setting
- 1+ year of patient access experience, with a strong understanding of medical records and data entry procedures
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
- High school diploma or equivalent
Pay and Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate of $15.00
