arenaflex is a long-term contractor for NYC Transit Authority (NYCTA), providing 24/7/365 customer service for the NYCTA "Access-a-Ride" transportation program. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring that every interaction is positive, efficient, and effective. As a Remote Agent at arenaflex, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with our customers to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide support.

The Role

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilizing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives
  • Maintaining accurate records and data, using our proprietary software to track customer interactions and resolve issues
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Adhering to our company's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their accounts and services
  • Utilize our proprietary software to track customer interactions and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Maintain accurate records and data, adhering to company policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience required; experience in the transportation industry a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of the transportation industry and its regulations
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience with CRM software and data entry
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
