Consultant Climate Strategy (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities Are you passionate about driving change and helping companies achieve their climate change mitigation ambitions? We’re looking for someone who can: Support our Climate Strategy Team in developing and implementing bespoke climate and decarbonisation strategies for companies with special focus on land use operations in their supply chains (agriculture, forestry) Independently manage GHG emissions analysis and accounting Advise on science-based climate target setting for GHG emissions Further develop existing GHG accounting methods and tools, particularly digital solutions for carbon management in companies Contribute to capacity building in areas relevant to our service portfolio such as GHG accounting, Science-Based Targets, climate risk analysis, decarbonisation actions Implement decarbonisation efforts especially for companies with agricultural and land use supply chains and producitons lines (FLAG sector) Support the team in key account and client management Independently manage and advise clients Your profile Your educational background is in Economics, Agronomics or Business Administration You have gained initial professional experience in sustainability consulting with a focus on decarbonisation strategies and management You are experienced in client relations and project management You have a strong background in data management You have experience with supply chain analysis in agricultural value chains You are familiar with Lifecycle Assessments (LCAs) You have initial experience in climate risk analysis You possess initial experience in decarbonisation strategies and actions of companies with land use and agricultural supply chains (FLAG sector) You understand business model implications of decarbonization strategies Your are fluent in both German and English What we offer Collaboration in an international interdisciplinary and dynamic team Exciting field of work at the interface between business and climate protection A casual work environment with impact A comprehensive introduction to our team and processes while providing the space to develop your own solutions – new ideas are expressly welcome Remote work possible if preferred Regular training and capacity building OUR MISSION: We let values GROW: we grow well financed, managed and monitored forests and ecosystems we grow long-term alliances with project stakeholders and clients we grow financial mechanisms and payment for ecosystem services to scale and improve projects we grow transparency and traceability through robust carbon standards, digital solutions, and earth observation technologie we grow the competency of our team by trainings, education and onboarding world leading experts.
