As a Suitability Principal, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest level of ethical standards. Oversee and manage the suitability review process for all new and existing business transactions. Conduct thorough reviews of client profiles and investment recommendations to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and internal policies. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and guidelines to ensure our company remains in compliance at all times. Collaborate with various departments within the company to gather necessary information and documentation for suitability reviews. Identify and address any potential compliance issues or red flags and take appropriate action to mitigate risk. Provide training and guidance to colleagues on suitability requirements and best practices. Monitor and track all suitability review activities and maintain accurate records for auditing purposes. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to resolve any complex suitability cases. Conduct periodic audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements. Serve as a point of contact for regulators and respond to any inquiries or requests related to suitability reviews. Act as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a culture of compliance within the organization. Proactively identify potential risks and suggest measures to mitigate them. Collaborate with the Elite Services team to provide exceptional customer service to our high net worth clients. Participate in industry conferences and events to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
