Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)
Our client, a leader in the engineering and construction industry, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Mechanical Engineering Department supporting project design and implementation teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Remote, Southern California, travel to job sites Pay Range: $140,000 - $160,000 What's the Job?
- Evaluate, design, and improve mechanical HVAC systems using advanced software tools such as Revit, CAD, and BIM.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope and develop detailed design plans.
- Perform building system analysis, testing, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Lead project surveys, feasibility studies, and site visits to gather critical data for design accuracy.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, civil engineers, and architects to ensure seamless project execution.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience working as part of a design team in a relevant industry.
- Proficiency with CAD, Revit, BIM, Energy Pro, Carrier HAP, and Trace software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Ability to lead and develop engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
