Summer Intern – Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction
Job Description:
- You will learn to develop and support in the development of a variety of learning materials for a K-12 student audience.
- Asynchronous instructional activities
- Multiple choice assessment items
- Educational video scripts or supplemental help videos
- Perform quality assurance checks on soon-to-be released curriculum materials
- Assist in the development of a standards-based curriculum organizational system
- Participate in various synchronous and asynchronous professional development and training activities.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University, completing an Advanced Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Knowledge of the structure of an effective lesson
- Ability to differentiate instruction to make learning accessible, engaging, and age-appropriate
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially written
- Proficiency in using Google Suite
- Excellent attention to detail
- Growth mindset and motivated by constructive feedback
- Proven ability to work independently, manage schedule, and meet deadlines
- High standards of integrity and transparency
- Access to a computer/laptop (with camera) and reliable high-speed internet connection.
