• The pay for this position is $53.00 per hour.
• Schedule options are Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM local time zone or Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM local time zone
• Fully remote / direct work-from-home position
• This position is a contract assignment

Responsibilities

• Review and complete criteria-based prior authorization determinations in accordance with company policy and procedure
• Evaluate medication requests accurately and efficiently within established turnaround times
• Maintain high standards of clinical judgment, documentation, and compliance
• Work independently in a remote environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations
• Participate in training and team meetings with camera on as required
• Protect confidential information and maintain a secure, private workspace that meets telework privacy standards

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license
• Must have an active pharmacist license in the state of residence listed on the resume , and the resume must include license dates showing active status
• PBM or prior authorization experience is not required
• If a candidate does have PBM/prior authorization experience, preference is for:
• 1+ year of prior authorization experience in a PBM setting
• Experience must be in prior authorization , not MTM
• Strong preference for candidates with retail pharmacy experience
• Strongly preferred backgrounds include:
• Pharmacy Manager experience
• Staff Pharmacist experience with 2+ years at the same company
• New graduates are acceptable if they demonstrate:
• Strong leadership skills
• Residency and/or fellowship experience
• Must provide a current internet speed test screenshot from speedtest.net on the resume
• Must have high-speed home internet with minimum:
• 25 Mbps download
• 3 Mbps upload
• Must provide:
• Internet provider
• Download speed
• Upload speed
• Must have a smartphone , as the VPN token must be downloaded to the device
• Must have a private, secure, and dedicated work area
• Must be comfortable being on camera during training and team meetings
• Must have a stable living situation that supports remote work requirements
• Must follow all teleworker privacy and security expectations, including:
• Keeping company equipment and confidential information secure at all times
• Ensuring screens, documents, and phone conversations cannot be accessed or overheard by others
• Locking or shutting down the workstation when stepping away
• Shutting off the computer when not working
