Role Overview We are looking for a Supply Chain & Sourcing Partner – Industrial Solutions to support SolutionMall’s business development and sourcing opportunity growth in North America, including the United States and Canada . This is not a traditional full-time purchasing position. It is a flexible, cooperation-based role designed for experienced professionals who understand sourcing, procurement, supplier development, industrial product sales, or project-based business development. The ideal candidate can help identify real sourcing opportunities, understand buyer requirements, connect project needs with suitable supply options, and support communication between local customers and SolutionMall’s international team. This role is especially suitable for professionals with experience in: Supply chain and sourcing Procurement and supplier development Industrial products or technical product sales Project-based purchasing support RFQ and quotation coordination B2B business development Local buyer or contractor networks
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing Opportunity Identification
Identify potential sourcing needs, procurement inquiries, and project-related product requirements in the United States and Canada. Understand buyer priorities, including technical requirements, delivery expectations, budget considerations, and supplier selection logic. Help distinguish general price inquiries from real project opportunities with commercial potential.
- Buyer Requirement Clarification
Communicate with potential buyers, contractors, integrators, project teams, or procurement contacts to better understand their actual needs. Clarify product specifications, application scenarios, quantities, timelines, and technical or commercial constraints. Help SolutionMall’s team better understand the local market requirement before quotation or product matching.
- Supplier and Product Matching Support
Support the matching of local demand with suitable global supply options. Help identify complementary products, alternative products, supporting accessories, and hard-to-source items that may be required for project completion. Provide practical market feedback when local buyers face sourcing challenges or cannot find suitable products through existing channels.
- RFQ and Quotation Coordination
Support the collection and clarification of RFQs, quotation requests, product lists, and project context. Coordinate with SolutionMall’s internal team to move valid opportunities forward. Follow up on buyer questions, quotation feedback, product alternatives, and next-step communication.
- Market Feedback and Business Development
Share insights about North American buyer behavior, sourcing channels, price expectations, supplier preferences, and competitive conditions. Help SolutionMall better understand market demand across industrial, technical, infrastructure, IT, data center, communication, energy support, and project-based product categories. Support long-term business development by identifying potential customers, partners, sourcing channels, or project opportunities.
