Your Responsibilities As a Financial Consolidation Consultant at Jedox, you will lead and deliver complex group consolidation and financial close projects for enterprise customers. You will help organizations design and implement modern, scalable consolidation and group reporting solutions on the Jedox EPM platform – enabling faster closes, higher data quality, and better decision-making. Leveraging your deep functional expertise and strong consulting mindset, you will act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Group Accounting, and Finance Transformation teams. Financial Consolidation Delivery & Expertise Lead end‑to‑end Financial Consolidation and Group Reporting implementations on the Jedox EPM platform, from requirements analysis through go‑live and post‑close stabilization. Design, configure, and validate consolidation solutions including: Scope of Consolidation Ownership structures, capital consolidation, and minority interests Intercompany reconciliation and eliminations Foreign currency translation and cumulative translation adjustment (CTA) Journals and manual adjustments Audit trails, controls, statutory and management reporting Review and validate key project deliverables such as data models, consolidation rules, mappings and training materials. Provide hands‑on support during critical project phases, including UAT, go‑live, and the first close cycle. Drive reconciliation activities, variance analysis, and issue resolution during stabilization phases to ensure a smooth and reliable close. Consulting Excellence & Client Advisory Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Group Accounting, and Finance teams, guiding customers on best practices in financial close and consolidation. Translate IFRS and local GAAP (e.g. HGB) requirements into scalable, auditable Jedox consolidation and reporting solutions. Build strong client relationships based on trust, credibility, and deep subject‑matter expertise in consolidation and group reporting. Conduct structured root‑cause analyses and implement sustainable solutions to improve data quality, performance, and process robustness. Communicate proactively and clearly with internal and external stakeholders regarding risks, issues, and resolution progress. Go‑To‑Market & Product Collaboration Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to validate product improvements Support presales and go‑to‑market activities, including solution scoping, proposals, PoCs, and product demos Help partners build and expand expertise in Jedox Consolidation Solutions Share insights and contribute to thought leadership on financial consolidation and EPM trends Your Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in Financial Consolidation consulting and/or corporate group accounting Proven experience delivering Financial Consolidation and Group Reporting Solid knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP and the financial close cycle Strong expertise in consolidation topics including intercompany eliminations, currency translation (CTA), equity and minority interests, journals, and auditability Hands‑on experience with EPM / CPM / consolidation systems and multi‑dimensional data models Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills, including senior‑level interaction Fluency in German, English at least at a conversational level What’s in It for You Transparency Note: Use of Artificial Intelligence As a tech-driven company, Jedox uses modern technologies — including AI — to continuously improve our processes.
