About the Role

As a Lead Data Scientist in the Ads Data Solution Research team at arenaflex, you will be a key member of a dynamic and collaborative team that is responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and revenue. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Analytics, Finance, Business Operations, Commerce Product, and Engineering, to design, build, and enhance models that tackle complex challenges in revenue, inventory, delivery, outcome, pricing, customer lifetime value estimation, forecasting, fraud prevention, and more.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and enhance models using knowledge of statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, Spark, PySpark) and database languages (e.g., SQL)

• Work stop to stop from data collection, feature engineering, and selection, model development, forecasting, visualization, and communication of model results
• Collaborate with engineering to produce models and drive experimentation to test the effect of the model based on total optimization
• Develop deep insights on audience, brand, and ad operational data systems and metrics
• Mine large data sets to identify opportunities for using marketing and advertising revenue, viewer ad experience, and subscriber growth and retention
• Develop prototype solutions, mathematical models, algorithms, and strong analytics leading to actionable insights communicated clearly and visually
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to identify and unlock opportunities, and with other data groups to enhance platform capabilities around data modeling, data visualization, experimentation, and data architecture

What You'll Bring

* Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Statistics)

• 7+ years of experience designing, building, and comparing realistic systems knowledge solutions
• 7+ years of experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, Spark, PySpark) and database languages (e.g., SQL)
• Strong analytical skills, superior level of data knowledge
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner, including large and complex ones
• Demonstrated management experience, including people and project management

Nice-to-Haves

* Doctorate's degree in a quantitative field

• Strong knowledge with Python and libraries including sci-kit-learn, SciPy
• Familiarity with Bayesian modeling and probabilistic programming applications including PyMC
• Familiarity with data structures and platforms including Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, Airflow, Github
• Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools including Tableau, Looker
• Familiarity with designing and reading A/B testing and other test types
• Demonstrated skills in choosing the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem
