Job Summary
As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift), you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work in a closed-door pharmacy setting, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers.
Day in the Life
As a Pharmacy Technician with arenaflex, your day will be filled with a variety of exciting and challenging tasks. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
- Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
- Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
- Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience would be an asset:
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
- Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
