Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service and Level 1 IT Support Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service via phone, ensuring that every interaction is positive, informative, and resolves the customer's issue.
  • Addressing and resolving customer account and billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting customers with Level 1 IT support, including troubleshooting internet connectivity, account access, and other basic technical issues.
  • Documenting customer interactions and maintaining accurate records to ensure seamless escalation and resolution of complex issues.
  • Escalating complex issues to higher-level support when necessary, ensuring that customers receive the support they need.

Schedule

This part-time, remote position requires a flexible schedule that includes:

  • Weekdays: 5 PM – 10 PM (Monday to Friday)
  • Weekends: 10 AM – 8 PM (Saturday and/or Sunday)
  • 20-25 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours as needed

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication skills, with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Basic technical knowledge, including familiarity with internet and network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and resolving customer issues.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a working computer at home.
  • A quiet, dedicated home workspace free of distractions.
  • Previous experience in customer service or IT support is a plus, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, previous experience in customer service or IT support is a plus. Additionally, proficiency in:

  • CRM software and ticketing systems
  • Technical documentation and knowledge management tools
  • Cloud-based collaboration and communication platforms
