The Opportunity
Our Mom and Baby team is a dynamic and growing division within arenaflex, consisting of 40 customer service representatives, 7 inside sales managers, and a supportive team of experts. We provide breast pumps, maternity compression, and lactation support services to new and expectant mothers, as well as expecting mothers, MD offices, and insurance providers. As a Customer Experience Representative - Mom & Baby, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Representative - Mom & Baby, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Working with customers who have requested mom and baby items through insurance
- Overseeing orders nationwide for mom and baby items through insurance
- Interfacing with existing customers to determine which products meet their needs
- Presenting arenaflex's services and handling inbound calls/emails from patients to convert them to potential sales
- Contacting patients through outbound phone calls and emails to investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues
- Communicating with customers to provide equipment/sizing troubleshooting and prompt follow-up for services promised/rendered
- Entering new customer demographics and updating changes to existing accounts
- Documentation processing, including verification of insurance and order entry
- Maintaining HIPAA/patient confidentiality and adhering to laws, regulations, and policies
Skills for Success
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle high call volumes
- Strong verbal, written, listening, and presentation communication skills
- Self-motivation, high energy, and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Exceptional critical thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and research
- Proven work history illustrating stability, reliability, and strong work ethics
- Sensitivity to patient care issues and the ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality
- Compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, which is a condition of employment and an element of job performance
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
- Microsoft Office computer skills
- 1+ years of customer service experience, with 1+ years of multiple phone line experience
- Starting rate: $18 an hour!
