Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate – Remote Data Entry Position at arenaflex

Key Responsibilities:
* Provides exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Registers transactions on assigned sales register, collects cash, and disburses change as required; processes voids, returns, delays, discounts, and exchanges as necessary.
- Maintains accurate records, including patient and medication data, and ensures data is entered correctly into our pharmacy systems.
- Performs tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and checking for potential interactions.
- Reports any prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to arenaflex's policies and procedures regarding prescription errors and the Quality Improvement Program.
- Handles calls that do not require individual attention from the pharmacist, including those to doctors.
- Processes (revises and resubmits) manual claims for external program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performs other administrative tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director.
- Assists and supports the Pharmacy Division on stock management activities, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications.
- Maintains knowledge of arenaflex's resource security methods and records claims for distribution center overages (stock received, but not charged), deficiencies (stock charged, but not received), order errors, or damaged products, including Rx medications.
- Ensures compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances (e.g., cocktails and tobacco products).
- Builds and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special designs, and completes resets and corrections as assigned.
- Assists with the division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by strategies/methods (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves).
- Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
- Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital identification photo service, banner print, and creative machine, and sells special photo items.
- Takes on web pick-up responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles requests, and delivers requests to customers as they arrive at the store).
- Assists with external and internal maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store environment and appearance.
- Adheres to all arenaflex policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with colleagues.
- Completes special tasks and other assignments as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy systems and equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
* Six months of experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with arenaflex
- Strong numerical skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
- Familiarity with store stock control
- PTCB certification
