Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Live Chat Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:
* Resolving end-user inquiries through live chat and web-based interactions, utilizing multiple technologies to provide accurate and complete information
* Handling and resolving situations with customers in a timely and effective manner, escalating issues when necessary
* Assisting management with special projects related to customer service, contributing to process improvements and quality initiatives
* Responding to all inbound chats and assisting management during your scheduled shift, with the exception of assigned break times
* Handling multiple job tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs and deadlines
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:
* A minimum of 3 months of live chat experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
* The ability to pass a typing speed test, typing at least 50 WPM
* At least 1 year of professional customer service experience, preferably in a large Call Center environment as a chat agent
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English (equivalent to CEF B2 level or above)
* A high school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in basic math and computer skills
* The ability to sit and work at a desk and on the computer for extended periods, maintaining a quiet and distraction-free work environment
* The ability to take inbound (voice) phone calls in a conversation-heavy environment
* A variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on call center needs
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet, with basic data entry and word processing skills
