Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in leading a team of hourly workforce and driving business growth. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce: You'll be responsible for leading and developing a team of hourly workforce, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure they're equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises: You'll work closely with our support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives, ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and to their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with all support teams: You'll work closely with our Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources teams to develop plans to meet business objectives and drive growth.
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach: You'll be required to lift and move packages, as well as perform other physical tasks, to ensure that our customers receive their orders on time.
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts: You'll be required to stand and walk for extended periods, often in a fast-paced environment.
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud: You'll work in an environment with varying noise levels, which can be loud at times.
- Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather: You'll work in an environment that's subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions, including outside loading departments.
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs): You'll be required to climb and descend stairs, if applicable.
