Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Live Chat Customer Service Advisor, you'll be responsible for:
- Resolving end-user inquiries through live chat and web-based interactions, utilizing multiple technologies to provide accurate and complete information
- Handling and resolving situations with customers in a timely and effective manner, escalating issues as needed
- Assisting management with special projects related to customer service, such as process improvements and training initiatives
- Responding to all inbound chats and assisting management during your scheduled shift, with the exception of assigned break times
- Handling multiple job tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 3 months of live chat experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
- The ability to pass a typing speed test and type 50 WPM, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- At least 1 year of professional customer service experience, preferably in a large Call Center environment as a chat agent
- The ability to sit and work at a desk and on the computer for extended periods of time, maintaining a quiet and distraction-free work environment
- The ability to take inbound (voice) phone calls in a conversation-heavy environment, with excellent listening and problem-solving skills
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English (equivalent to CEF B2 level or above)
- A High School diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and customer service
- The ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on call center needs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet, along with basic data entry and word processing skills
