Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer – Cloud-Based Data Pipeline Development and Support

The Role
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based data pipelines. You'll work closely with our Data Science team to ensure that our data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. Your expertise will help us unlock new insights and drive business growth through data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab
- Collaborate with our Data Science team to identify data requirements and develop data pipelines that meet their needs
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data set designs, and data visualization tools
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with arenaflex's data governance policies
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines using tools like Docker and GitLab
- Work with our DevOps team to ensure that our data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance
- Collaborate with our Data Engineering team to develop and maintain data architecture and design patterns
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL, with experience working with cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks
- Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
- Experience with source control using GitLab or GitHub
- Strong understanding of data architecture and design patterns
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark
- Proficiency in cloud design and product development, with experience working with AWS
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a strong understanding of data science concepts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
