Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, performing various pharmacy tasks, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, and developing strong relationships with the local medical community. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including reviewing and complying with national, federal, and agency policies
- Perform various pharmacy tasks, such as using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues
- Develop strong relationships with customers, including most valuable customers
- Assist in the operation of pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management
- Perform clerical duties, such as processing prescriptions, handling claims, and maintaining accurate records
- Assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in training and development programs to maintain expertise and skills in healthcare and pharmacy
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English required (except in Puerto Rico)
- Previous experience in a retail or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems and software
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service
Preferred Qualifications
* Six months of experience in a retail or healthcare setting
- Previous work experience with arenaflex
- % certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
