We are looking for an Experienced Full Stack Technical Designer to help shape and bring to life a next-generation, multi-platform AAA game. This is a critical role where you'll collaborate with a passionate design team, leveraging your expertise to guide, mentor, and elevate others while pushing the boundaries of game design.

Job Description:

### Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Designer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the vision and direction of our next-generation, multi-platform AAA game. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring fellow designers, leveraging your expertise in Unreal Engine to guide and enhance their technical skillset. ### Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Mentor:

Use your expertise in Unreal Engine to guide fellow designers, ensuring the team adheres to best practices and enhances their technical skillset.

Innovative Problem Solving:

Proactively troubleshoot challenges, delivering creative and practical solutions that move the project forward.

Create & Optimize:

Develop maintainable, robust content and features in Unreal Engine/Blueprint, constantly refining workflows and toolsets.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with design and development teams, writing design specifications, reviewing with stakeholders, and making data-driven adjustments. ### What We're Looking For: We want someone who thrives on sharing knowledge, enjoys learning, and takes pride in delivering elegant, creative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for advancing game design into a sophisticated art form, with a deep commitment to both craftsmanship and innovation. ### Qualifications:

Expertise in Unreal Engine (Blueprint, UMG, Animation Blueprint, and gameplay systems):

You have extensive experience working with Unreal Engine and are proficient in using its various tools and features.

Strong grasp of 3D math fundamentals:

You have a solid understanding of 3D math concepts and can apply them to solve complex problems.

Proficient in C++ programming:

You have experience writing C++ code and can apply it to create efficient and effective solutions.

2+ years in a technical design role, with at least one title shipped using Unreal Engine:

You have a proven track record of working in a technical design role and have shipped at least one title using Unreal Engine.

Experience with multiplayer game development:

You have experience working on multiplayer games and can apply your knowledge to create engaging and immersive experiences.

Strong communication and collaboration skills:

You are an effective communicator and can work collaboratively with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals. ### Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with additional programming languages like Python, C#, or Lua:

You have experience working with other programming languages and can apply your knowledge to create efficient and effective solutions.

• Artistic and animation skills, including the ability to model, rig, and animate simple placeholder assets for early gameplay prototypes: You have experience working with art and animation tools and can create placeholder assets for early gameplay prototypes.
