Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Processing billing calls, investigating meter reads, and resolving billing accuracy or payment issues
• Handling emergency calls and providing timely support to customers in crisis situations
• Processing customer move-ins, adds, and transfers, as well as refunds, compensation requests, and changes to accounts
• Routing escalated customer issues for resolution and making referrals to special programs such as Energy Assistance, CRISIS, Dollar Energy, or other programs as necessary
• Processing order inquiry calls, initiating service orders, and providing service order status updates
• Assisting customers with credit/payment arrangements and directing them to self-service channels as needed
• Meeting individual deadlines, metrics, and team goals while multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
• Working cooperatively in a group environment to achieve common goals and promoting a positive work environment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of customer service experience
• Computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
• The ability to type a minimum of 25 WPM (Word Per Minute)
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• For bilingual candidates, the ability to pass a bilingual aptitude test (Spanish) and possess solid written skills in English and Spanish, as well as speak fluent English and Spanish
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:

• 2-3 years of call center and/or customer service experience
• 2-5 years of previous customer service work from home experience
• Utility experience
• Advanced computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
• The ability to type 60-65 WPM (Words Per Minute)

To be eligible for this role, you must reside within 80 miles of one of the following arenaflex facilities:

• arenaflex of Ohio location (290 W. Nationwide, Blvd, Columbus, OH 43215)
• arenaflex of Kentucky (2001 Mercer Road, Lexington, KY 40511)
• arenaflex of Pennsylvania (12 Sandstone Way, Dunbar, PA 15431)

Work From Home Office Requirements

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you will be required to:

• Maintain high-speed wired internet access (75mpbs download and 15mpbs upload) that is hardwired, with no Wi-Fi or Satellite Internet
• Have the ability to work in a secure, private location with proper, ergonomic office equipment (computer desk and computer chair) and setup
• Have a smart phone to download a VPN app on your personal device
• Be available from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and able to attend 100% of the 13-week training program, with punctual attendance essential for consistent service delivery and reliability for our customers

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $33,400.00 - $46,800.00.
