Key Responsibilities

As an Office Clerk/Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently entering daily work orders into our systems, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Report Assembly: Compiling and assembling reports, using industry software and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Reconciliation: Reconciling reports and ensuring that all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Clerical Duties: Performing a range of clerical tasks, including filing, copying, faxing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication: Maintaining excellent communication with various departments, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  • Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned by management, including special projects and initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Data Entry Experience: At least 1 year of experience in data entry, with a typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
  • Office Clerk Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an office clerk role, with a strong understanding of office procedures and protocols.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as industry software.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Microsoft Excel Experience: At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel, with a strong understanding of its features and functions.
  • Recycling Experience: Experience in recycling or sustainability would be an asset, but is not necessary.

Physical Demands

As a remote employee, you'll need to be able to:

  • Organize Office Systems: Organize and maintain accurate records, using a range of office systems and equipment.
  • Use Computer and Related Devices: Use a computer and related devices, such as a keyboard or mouse, throughout the workday.
  • Bend, Stoop, or Sit: Bend, stoop, or sit for long periods of time, as required by the role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Benefits: 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, health savings account, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.

Schedule

As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work a range of hours, including:

  • 8-Hour Shift: An 8-hour shift, with the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Ability to Commute/Relocate

While we're a remote organization, we're based in Chicago, IL 60608. If you're not already based in the area, you'll need to be able to commute or relocate before starting work.
