Job Summary:
As a Senior Director of Data Architecture and Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and innovating our data initiatives, managing and inspiring a high-performing team of data engineers and architects, and driving the execution of our data product strategy. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and Innovate: Oversee the design and development of data pipelines, solutions, and end-to-end data architecture to support our business needs.
* Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a high-performing team of data engineers and architects, ensuring the robustness, security, and scalability of our data systems.
* Strategic Execution: Drive the execution of our data product strategy, aligning it with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
* MDM and Data Governance: Implement Master Data Management (MDM) and governance practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization.
* Cloud Solutions: Develop and manage cloud-based data solutions, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their data needs and aligning them with our data strategy.
* Advanced Technologies: Utilize big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, and integrate them with cloud-based advancements to develop state-of-the-art data solutions.
* Technical Expertise: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum 12 years in data engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Expertise: Proven experience in data strategy, architecture, and MDM implementation.
* Technical Skills: Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and big data technologies.
* Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with a track record of guiding and motivating high-performing teams.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
* Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desirable.
