Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong background in web and cloud application development to join our team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and efficient web and cloud applications that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design solutions, and implement features that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and deploying web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Objective-C, C, and C++
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet customer needs
- Developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure code that meets arenaflex's coding standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve code quality and best practices
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web and cloud application development
- Collaborating with our QA team to ensure that applications meet quality and testing standards
- Participating in agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Providing subject matter expertise on iOS platform and mobile application development
- Developing and maintaining iOS frameworks and UI components
- Executing Proof of Concepts (POCs) for visionary initiatives
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in software development using Java, Objective-C, C, or C++
- 2+ years of experience in iOS mobile application development
- Strong foundation in computer science, with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for mobile platforms
- Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Strong foundation in computer science, with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for mobile platforms
- Passion for user experience and knowledge of iOS Application Patterns as per the iOS Development Guidelines
- Experience with iOS development tools, including Xcode, continuous integration tools, and unit testing
- Knowledge of iOS platform security practices
- Experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications to server-side systems
- Solid coding practices, including good design documentation, unit testing, source control (GIT, SVN, etc.), and peer code reviews
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Experience with mobile banking applications
- Familiarity with integrating GCM notification systems
- Familiarity with design and implementation of configuration-oriented applications
- Familiarity with Imaging API's and Remote deposit
