Job Summary

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our energy customers through phone, email, and chat interactions. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving their issues, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services. This role requires a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude, as well as excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phone calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Focusing on customer retention by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our energy services.
  • Providing customers with information about our service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources, ensuring that customers receive the support they need in a timely manner.
  • Following up on complicated customer calls, ensuring that issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Completing call notes and call reports as necessary, updating them in our CRM system to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of customer interactions.
  • Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries.
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken, ensuring that customer feedback is captured and used to improve our services.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management, ensuring that the Customer Service Department operates efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus
  • Some sales and customer service experience, preferably in the energy industry
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar and punctuation
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Some experience with MS Excel a plus
  • Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently
