Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments – Full Remote Opportunity

Job Summary
As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You'll be working closely with our Retail and Institutional Service Teams, as well as external partners, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and fund companies/transfer agents
- Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
- Analyze complex/escalated issues, test/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications
- Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
- Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
- Collaborate with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Duties Analysis
* Review subscription deals or transfer requests
- Client/Advisor account exceptions
- Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Reconciliation of Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
- Reconciliation across BOS and Fund Companies
- Review and analysis of correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
- Trouble Addressing:
+ Internal/External system improvements or concerns + Root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc. + Providing method or innovation service alternatives to Management + Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm + Client or Company Partner Service: - Answering business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility - Providing follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues - Prompt and correct finalization of client investing and dividend demands
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Alternate Investments
- Knowledge of regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Experience with tax coding and corrections
- Familiarity with BOS and Fund Companies
- Experience with system improvements or concerns
- Strong understanding of client needs and expectations
