Job Summary
As a Mortgage Customer Service Representative II, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to customers, lenders, and banking/mortgage institutions on HUD FHA and reverse mortgages. You will engage with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions, to address their queries, concerns, and needs. Your exceptional customer service skills, mortgage origination experience, and technical expertise will enable you to provide accurate and timely information, resolve complex issues, and build strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert guidance and support to customers, lenders, and banking/mortgage institutions on HUD FHA and reverse mortgages
- Engage with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Address customer queries, concerns, and needs in a timely and professional manner
- Resolve complex issues and provide accurate and timely information to customers
- Build strong relationships with customers, lenders, and banking/mortgage institutions
- Collaborate with internal teams, including mortgage origination, underwriting, and customer service
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
* Minimum of two years of FHA loan origination experience (loan processor, underwriter, loan officer) plus an additional year of customer service or contact center experience, OR at least three years of loan origination experience working with conventional loans and/or other government-backed loans (FHA, USDA, VA)
- Two to four years of college or equivalent work experience
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Basic PC skills (including MS Office) and the ability to effectively navigate a computer Customer Relationship Management application, related websites, and support tools
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to type 35 words per minute
- The ability to work an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday between 8am to 8pm Eastern Time, based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
* Mortgage origination experience
- Knowledge of HUD FHA and reverse mortgage products and services
- Experience working with government-backed loans (FHA, USDA, VA)
- Strong understanding of mortgage origination processes and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
