Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. You'll be responsible for entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems, transmitting information or documents using a computer, and verifying information in documents or on computer screens for accuracy and completeness. You'll also be responsible for operating standard office equipment, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets.

Key Responsibilities

* Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems

  • Transmit information or documents using a computer
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
  • Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests
  • Verify information in documents or on computer screens, including text, printed forms, and lists for accuracy and completeness
  • Operate standard office equipment other than computers, such as telephone, typewriter, fax, photocopier, calculator, and electronic peripherals
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Experience with data management software and systems
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry operations and procedures
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience working in a hybrid work environment

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Hourly pay rate of $18.50 to $24.00 per hour
