Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients, doctors' offices, and insurance companies. You will be responsible for setting up new accounts, resolving issues, obtaining prior authorizations, and managing prescriptions to ensure timely delivery of medical supplies. Key Responsibilities
* Handle incoming and outgoing calls with members, caregivers, doctors, and other outside providers regarding members' documentation and account needs.
- Review documentation for completion and insurance compliance and enter documentation into member's account accurately.
- Thoroughly review patient accounts and records to ensure timely patient service.
- Communicate with Team Supports and Management team for matters that require approval or escalation.
- Utilize the Customer Service Wiki to maintain a strong knowledge base of processes, procedures, insurance guidelines, products, and company information.
- Make suggestions for process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including data entry and record management.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role requiring the ability to handle multiple tasks at various stages of completion.
- Previous experience requiring clear and calm communication by phone.
- Previous experience requiring the ability to effectively use computer systems and maintain good records.
- Experience working in a medical or healthcare-related field.
