Job Summary

As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant in arenaflex's Atlanta, GA location, you will play a critical role in supporting our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team. You will be responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to pharmacists for completion, making outbound calls and faxes to physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. You will work in a high-production environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

* Route questionable prescriptions to pharmacists for completion

• Make outbound calls and faxes to physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
• Multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service
• Work in a high-production environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and prescriptions
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with changing regulations and best practices

Requirements

* 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

• Pharmacy Tech Certification in the state of GA
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Verifiable experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in computer software and technology

Preferred Qualifications

* Specialty pharmacy experience

• Call center experience
• Prescription adjudication experience to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

• Minimum: $17.00
• Maximum: $27.90
