Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our client service team, you'll be responsible for managing client communications, nurturing relationships, and ensuring seamless policy administration. Responsibilities
As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting clients with claims reporting, gathering necessary documentation, and communicating with adjusters to process claims efficiently
- Recording policy updates and changes on customer accounts, tracking them in our book of business, and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage
- Assisting with the renewal process and policy updates by providing competitive quotes and ensuring clients understand their coverage options
- Providing clear answers to clients on coverage or billing questions, including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes to ensure full understanding
- Staying up-to-date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers by regularly speaking with our industry partners
- Reviewing current clients' coverage needs to determine if updates or changes are warranted
- Communicating clear responses to coverage or billing inquiries
- Processing and documenting calls, emails, and policy updates in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- An active insurance license in Minnesota or the willingness to obtain one within 30 days
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and provide clear responses to client inquiries
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is preferred, but we'll provide training as needed for the right fit and skillset
